Ulf Gartzke
Ulf Gartzke is a contributing blogger covering German / European issues for The Weekly Standard, one of America’s leading conservative journals. He has written for a variety of U.S., Canadian, and German media, including The Globe and Mail, The New York Sun, The Daily Standard, The American Enterprise, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Sueddeutsche Zeitung, Financial Times Deutschland, and the Internationale Politik. Since July 2004, Ulf Gartzke has also served as the Director of the Washington Office of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation, a political not-for-profit organization affiliated with Germany's ruling conservative CSU (Christian Social Union) party. In addition, he is a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University's BMW Center for German and European Studies as well as a Senior Fellow at the Duesseldorf Institute for Foreign and Security Policy.
