Ukrainian Volunteer Movement
The Ukrainian Volunteer Movement emerged from the groups that supported demonstrators during the Euromaidan protests in late 2013 by supplying hospitals and the Ukrainian armed forces with a variety of items from basics such as food and water to sophisticated medical and military equipment.
In February 2014, after the Russian military took control of Crimea, it became apparent that the Ukrainian military lacked government funding and the materials to confront the Russian forces. In response to this situation, small self-organized groups of volunteers began supplying Ukrainian soldiers and national guardsmen with food, water, clothes, and tactical equipment, such as quality optics and laser sights. As the conflict has continued, volunteers have helped tend to the increasing number of wounded soldiers and civilians in both civilian and military hospitals by supplying medicine and medical equipment.
The Ukrainian Volunteer Movement has also assisted in the evacuation of civilians from the war zones and helping refugees after relocation.

Help Ukrainian Warriors
Volunteer group "Help Ukrainian Warriors" was established due to the cohesion of activists, who have been working together since July 2014. Primary concerns of the group's activity are collecting money, purchasing all necessary stuff and military equipment with further transfer to the frontline in the East for Ukrainian armed troops. Group activists do not collaborate with military leadership of Ukrainian armed forces, but directly contact fighters, who pass on the lists of things they need. Currently assisting 80th separate air-mobile brigade, based in Lviv. Stryiska 88, is in prior. All the financial revenues of the organization is a subject for a strict calculation. From the very beginning a prerequisite of the group's activity remains absolute transparency of its functioning, meaning accurate accounting of the costs and revenues, presenting screenshots of the receipts and photo images of every item bought and passed on to the ward military unit. For the first three months of running the group has collected more than 600 000 UAH. More detailed information can be found here www.http://facebook.com/groups/help.warriors

Donbass: A Change for Childhood
An initiative led by Ukrainian American community that aims to support child war refugees – orphans, children with special needs and children traumatized by warfare. We raise money to help them receive medical treatment, needed everyday goods (medicine, diapers, dietary supplements, etc.) and be equipped with necessary school supplies. We have partnered with the volunteer group “The New Society” in Odessa, Ukraine. They work to create housing opportunities for these children and to transport donated goods to those who need them.

We confer with our contacts in Ukraine to determine what supplies are most urgently needed by soldiers and volunteer battalions. We operate through trusted channels to get supplies into the hands of those who need them. We send directly to volunteers who run supplies to soldiers, to minimize any possibility of diversion. Some of the items we've been regularly sending include medical supplies, tactical gauze, military uniforms, boots, helmets, Kevlar KM2 ballistic fabric, sleeping bags, and thermal clothing. Join our group on Facebook via the link above - we regularly update with interesting news. Additionally, a list is maintained account for the use of all donations, with receipts posted for all items purchased and sent into Ukraine. We've also put up a donation site on YouCaring.com http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/appeal-to-ukrainian-patriots-in-usa-to-support-our-heroes/221841#sthash.hgWbEiJ5.dpuf We all hope for peace - though none of us are naive enough to believe that Putin actually wants peace in Ukraine.
