Jonathan Sedgwick is the owner, founder and [[chief executive officer]] (CEO) of the company. Together with John Flowers [[Chief Operations Officer]] (COO) and Gillian Flowers [[Chief Financial Officer]] (CFO). The company was established in 2009 and since their foundation they have held many events, within there first major event Road To The Gold on August 23, 2009 [[Kevin Thorn]] became the first holder of the [[UKW Championship]].

UKW made its debut on July 12, 2009 with an event titled 'Wrestlebration', The show focused around tournament qualifying matches, the tournament would be held the following month at Road To The Gold. Kevin Thorne made his first UKW appearance at Wrestlebration defeating Scotty Phantom. Along with 7 other participants the 8 man tournament was scheduled.
On August 23, 2009 as well as Kevin Thorne winning the [[UKW Championship]], UKW also crownd UKW Tag Team Champions, The Impact Express ([[Dynamite Chris Hart ]] & Dazzlin' Danny Valentine) who held the titles until November 2009 at Retribution, The Impact Express was defeated in a handicap match by Phantom Inc. (Dylan Roberts & Danny Steel). Phantom Inc. is run by Scotty Phantom. [[Dynamite Chris Hart]] was also appointed the Acting General Manager position by Jonathan Sedgwick.
In September 2009 Kevin Thorne had to relinquish the title due to injury. On October 23, 2009 at Hallowed Ground Scotty Phantom Self Proclaimed himself the UKW Champion. Acting General Manager [[Dynamite Chris Hart]] scheduled a Championship Match the following month at Retribution, Scotty Phantom vs 'The Mountain Warrior' Matt Vaughn, Scotty won the match with the help of Phantom Inc. making him the official 2nd UKW Champion.
On December 18, 2009 UKW held an event titled The December Bash, Phantom Inc. retained there UKW Tag Team Championships, while Scotty Phantom lost the [[UKW Championship]] to new comer Rob Cage, who defeated Scotty Phantom by Submission, after the match Phantom Inc came to the ring to help Scotty Phantom use his rematch clause to defeat Rob Cage and become the first ever 2 time UKW Champion.
UKW also has a women's devision and are debuting the UKW Women's Championship in 2010.
