U Jin Jo
U Jin Jo is the youngest International Olympic Committee Secretariat in history working with Thomas Bach, President of the IOC. She is also the founder of You Matter 100 Percent, an international anti-bullying organization.
Early life and education
Born is South Korea, Jo attended Whitinsville Christian School where she learnt English . She later attended The Bement School in Deerfield MA where she graduated as a valedictorian of 2016 class. She also attended Southborough MA. After a year at St. Mark’s, she changed to Stoneleigh-Burnham School, in Greenfield, where she completed her high school career.
Career
Jo was appointed to work with Thomas Bach, President of the IOC, as a direct secretariat. Her nomination for the post came in part through her work with "You Matter 100 Percent", an international anti-bullying organization she founded.<ref name="SBS"/>
Jo is also the special Olympics honorary ambassador, and she yearly donates 1m dollars to help athletes participate in Special Olympics. She is also in charge of posting and commercializing special Olympics to help spread the importance of the game.<ref name="SBS"/>
Before she was appointed as the honorary Ambassador, Jo was involved in the Special Olympics as a volunteer ambassador for 4 consecutive years. She was merely in 5th grade at the start of all this.<ref name="SBS"/>
