Tyrell Fortune
Tyrell Fortune is an American mixed martial artist currently competing in the Heavyweight division of Bellator MMA.
Background
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Fortune had a very decorated amateur wrestling career. He won two state titles at parkrose and lakeridge High School]] after finishing as a runner-up during his sophomore season. Fortune was also an eight-time high school All-American, placed first at the US FILA Junior World Team Trials, and won six national titles in freestyle and Greco-Roman categories, leading him to be widely considered the number one high school recruit in the nation. At the collegiate level, Fortune first won the NJCAA national title twice at Clackamas Community College, before transferring to Grand Canyon University where he was the 2013 NCAA Division II national champion at 285 lbs. with a 37-1 record. Grand Canyon would move up to NCAA Division I following Fortune's 2012-2013 junior season. Fortune won a gold medal at the World University Championships in 2014.

Bellator MMA
Fortune made his professional debut for Bellator at Bellator 163 on November 4, 2016 against Cody Miskell. Fortune won via first-round TKO.
Fortune then faced Will Johnson at Bellator 171 on January 27, 2017. He won via second-round TKO.
Fortune next faced Branko Busick at Bellator 178 on April 21, 2017. He won via unanimous decision.
