Tweed Horse Sessions
Tweed Horse Sessions is the name of the demo recording sessions for Jars of Clay's third major label studio album, If I Left The Zoo. These raw recordings were recorded and produced by the band before entering into the album's recording sessions with Dennis Herring. Only six of the session's ten recorded songs would later make the studio album's final track listing. "The New Math", "Bullet", "My Boy", and "I'm Alright" (Reprise) were never professionally recorded for an album. However, "The New Math", direct from the Tweed Horse Sessions, would later be released on The White Elephant Sessions, a limited-EDition disc that was packaged with If I Left The Zoo at certain Christian bookstores. Other songs that were released on The White Elephant Sessions from the Tweed Horse Sessions include "I Collide" and "Can't Erase It".
