The Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard, along with the Girne (Kyrenia) and Cemal Gürsel Boulevard, forms the state roadway through the city of Adana, historically known for the large volume of freight traffic from Europe passes here, especially since the opening of the Bosphorus Bridge () on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
