TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero

The TS-MA2mod.00 Moebius Zero is a high-powered commander-type mobile armor produced in limited quantities by the Earth Alliance during the Bloody Valentine War. Only a few highly-talented mobile armor pilots, like Lt. Mu La Flaga, can successfully pilot this mobile armor because of the difficulty of controlling its four wire-guided gunbarrels. As a result, the production model mobile armor TS-MA2 Moebius was given a more conventional armament, with missiles instead of the gunbarrel pods.

After the Grimaldi Front, the last surviving Moebius Zero pilot was Lt. La Flaga, who earned the nickname "Hawk of Endymion" for his exploits in that battle. La Flaga was taken aboard the Archangel, becoming the ship's Mobile weapons commander. When the ship descended to Earth, the Moebius Zero was unable to fly in Earth's atmosphere (as it was a spacecraft with minimal maneuverability under gravity), so Lt. (now Lt. Commander) La Flaga switched to the FX-550 Skygrasper fighter jet.

The AQM/E-X04 Gunbarrel Striker is based on the Moebius Zero, but with an improved Gunbarrel equipping one beam gun and two missiles instead of the Moebius's two machine guns. The Gunbarrel Striker can operate either as an independent unit or as a Striker Pack for the GAT-X105 Strike Gundam or GAT-01A1 105 Dagger.
