Troy Henley

Troy Henley (born January 13, 1997) is an American major junior ice hockey player for the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Troy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and now lives in Paulsboro, a small town in southern New Jersey. Henley is a right defenseman, who originally started as a goalie in his younger years. Previous skills include and are not limited to: acquired belts in the art of Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts and was a highly sought after baseball talent with placement as a pitcher and catcher before relieving his baseball career to pursue Ice Hockey. The defenseman was drafted in the second round, 20th overall into the Ontario Hockey League by the Ottawa 67's in 2013. He rostered as Alternate Captain for Team USA Select U17 Team in 2013 for competition in the Five Nations Tournament in Bratislava, Slovakia where Team USA went undefeated and obtained Gold for the championship. Henley will be eligible for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
