Trevor Farbo
Trevor Farbo (born May 13, 1991 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a race car driver in the USARacing Pro Cup Series. He currently resides in Mooresville, North Carolina.
2004-2006
Trevor started his racing career in 2004 driving a Bandolero car with coaching and guidance from former NASCAR crew chief Gary Nelson (NASCAR). During the early 2006 season, he had already won 4 races at Lowe's Motor Speedway and several other high profile tracks across the nation. In late 2006, Trevor took a bold step in his career by moving up to the Aaron's Sales and Leasing Pro Challenge Series. The results were astonishing as the young driver adapted to the heavier and more powerful Pro Challenge cars almost immediately. In just his fourth start, a then 15-year-old Farbo turned heads by conquering the biggest event in Pro Challenge Series history at South Boston Speedway. With a crowd-pleasing last lap pass, Trevor cemented himself in the history books as the first and only Mason Dixon Meltdown winner.
2007
The 2007 racing season brought even more success for Trevor. He was crowned Pro Challenge Rookie of the Year in addition to finishing a close 2nd in the national points championship. Farbo was a force to be reckoned with after scoring 3 victories in the 2007 Pro Challenge season along with a majority of top-five finishes. Over the summer of 2007, Trevor sharpened his driving skills by competing in a Legends car for Clay Hair Motorsports in the televised Summer Shootout Series at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The stats were outstanding as he recorded 1 win, 6 top-five finishes, and a 3rd place finish in both Red, White and Blue points as well as the Summer Shootout Championship Standings.
2008
In 2008, Trevor raced a limited schedule and gained experience in the USARacing Pro Cup Series in preparation for a full-time run at Rookie of the Year honors in 2009. This marked the first time that Trevor would be behind the wheel of a full-size STOCK car with 600+ horsepower. Reminiscent of years past, Trevor quickly adapted to the heavier stock cars and was able to hang with the series’ seasoned veterans in the select races in which he competed.
2009
2009 looks to be promising as Trevor plans to make a run at the USARacing Pro Cup Rookie of the Year title. Additionally, Trevor will turn 18-years-old on May 13th, 2009 making him eligible to compete in one of NASCAR's top three series.
