Mission Statement

To champion an effective movement and provide a unified voice for an efficient and affordable public transit system.

Goals and Objectives

  • Transit Friendly City – to decrease urban sprawl and other accessibility concerns
  • Cost – to maintain current prices, subsidy for low & middle-income riders, as well as, future (downtown) patrons.
  • Efficiency – to ensure user-friendly routes, scheduling, late-night transit and more ‘park and rides’
  • Environment – to decrease the number of vehicles on the roadway and reduce harmful emissions.
  • Safety – to ensure transit police are accountable and in touch with the needs and concerns of existing and potential ETS riders.
  • Ridership – to support effective promotional material to encourage more usage.
