Train Tracking

"Train Tracking" is a game by (now defunct) maker Demon Star.

Synopsis/Game Play

The player has a overall view of a station, with a list of engine (for freight) and train (for passenger) numbers, all of which must be collected to complete the 'level'.

Difficulty increases as the player progresses through the game, with an extra track being added on every bonus level; the volume of numbers also increases as gameplay progresses. Difficulty can also be increased by altering the difficulty level before the game starts, which increases the ammount of similar train numbers and also train number length.

Instead of lives, the player is given 3 bottles of Weak Lemon Drink, one of which is drunk when the player fails the level.

Compatability

The game tends to appear to load and then will stop, with a alerter telling the user that there is an 'illegal memory address!'. The solution to this problem is to have a program or window open when train tracking is played, and upon the loading screen, switch to the other application, then switch back.
