Tommy Alastra

Tommy Alastra (born February 14, 1976) is an American film and television producer best known for producing the documentary "Sunset Strip".

Early Life & Career

Alastra was born on February 14, 1976 in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the University of Southern California, from 1998 to 2002.

He began his career in Hollywood as an entertainment marketer and has produced and built brand awareness in films, TV, fashion, beauty and luxury goods for a wide array of partners and clients. Alastra's TAP INC, founded in 2001, produced the films “Jackals” and “Sunset Strip”, as well as the upcoming "The Beautiful and the [...]".

In 2014, Alastra was brought on as an advisor and producer to Loton Corporation’s LiveXLive, a live streaming platform granting AOL digital distribution right for the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil. He also produced the live feed for Rock in Rio Lisboa, featuring Queen, Adam Lambert, Bruce Springsteen, Maroon 5 and Ariana Grande.

Philanthropy

Alastra sits as co-chair for charities such as Race to Erase MS, to raise money for global humanitarian efforts. Alastra also helped the Clinton Foundation grow its network of professionals and financiers under 45 through the Millennium Network event.
