Tk6000
TK6000 is both a computer peripheral and Ethernet ATA (VOIP) that, in combination with telephony service from the related Nettalk .Com Inc., provides Internet-based telephone service (VoIP) to the United States and Canada. The product is a USB/Ethernet device that holds both the software necessary to place Internet-based telephone calls via a customer-supplied high-speed internet connection, and intelligent call processing electronics supporting conventional landline telephones to be plugged directly into same device.
The products and the claims are promoted through television infomercials and a website.
The company's website attributes the invention of TK6000 and the founding of NetTalk to Anastasios Kyriakides(Founder), Kenneth HosfeldCo-founder, and Leo ManzewitschCo-founder, who have other patent claims pending on voice-over-IP (VoIP)-related technology. Another Co-Founder of Nettalk is Bill Rodriguez. The TK6000 device works exclusively with the company's captive landline supplier and CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier), NetTalk.
Voicemail is stored on the NetTalk servers, and is delivered via email. NetTalk also provides free conferencing services to its customers.
