Tint World is a franchise-based business that specializes in automotive, residential, commercial and marine window tinting and security-film services. The company also offers auto security; electronics; audio/video; custom styling; custom wheels and tires; detailing and reconditioning. The company was founded in 1982 and began franchising in 2007.

History

Established in 1982 in Tamarac, Florida, Tint World First began by specializing in automotive window tinting. Over the next 20 years, Tint World expanded their services to include auto security, car stereo and video systems, etc. In 2006, Tint World, LLC was formed and began franchising; the First Franchise store opened in Davie, Florida.

By 2010, over 25 stores were open or in development in six US states.

Franchise

American entrepreneur Charles J. Bonfiglio is the chief executive officer for Tint World, LLC and began franchising in 2006. The chain has sold franchise licenses for 47 stores in the U.S. with 24 stores up and running and 12 to 15 scheduled to open in 2013.

Tint World has been recognized by Inc. 5000 for three consecutive years as part of its annual list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Entrepreneur Online has also ranks Tint World as one of the top 500 franchises for 2013.
