Timothy Dean Roth
Timothy Dean Roth is an author, rock historian, film critic, musician and artist. He was born on November 29, 1974 in Clark County, Washington and lives in Ridgefield, Washington. Published works include The Week That Changed the World: The Complete Easter Story, published by Seabury Books (2009) and a chapter entitled "Kill Bill and the Ethics of Vengeance," discussing The Intersection of the film and the works of Dante in Quentin Tarantino and Philosophy: How to Philosophize with a Pair of Pliers and a Blowtorch, published by Open Court (2007).
Mr. Roth has studied at Wheaton College (1999-2002), Oxford University (2002) and Duke Divinity School, where he received an Masters of Theological Studies in 2005. He has also lectured, most recently on the arrangement of the world in Dante's Inferno at Fordham University in February, 2007.
Current projects include a collaboration with Joseph Clair (PhD student at Princeton Theological Seminary) tentatively titled Between Heaven and Earth, discussing The Effects of Gnosticism on the modern Evangelical church.
