Tim McGrath (musician)

Tim McGrath (born 4 February, 1993) is an American rock singer and guitarist. On August 7, he was offered a label endorsement from RCA Records. He accepted, and has since been recording with his recording manager, Pat Donahue. His debut album, Cold The Sun, is scheduled for release some time in late 2009.

On December 11, 2008, McGrath's first single "The People That We Love" was nominated for RCA's "Lyrics of the Year" award.

"Of all of the things I have learned in this life, I think the most important is that people change, but music doesn't. No matter how many times it 'always ends up happening to me', my music will always be the thing that keeps me going. That's how it should be. Pat helps me see that. I owe him a lot. If I ever make it big, I'll never forget where I came from." -Tim McGrath during a 2008 interview

In 2008, Tim McGrath recorded with Kevin Griffin on a compilation of songs. One of the most prevalent is expected to be "Winter Without You", which is actually a lyrical cover of a friend of Tim's. The song is expected to be released on Better Than Ezra's compilation Rearview: A Collection in later 2009. The compilation will be produced under Pat Donahue, and endorsed under RCA Records.
