Tim Deegan is the Chief Meteorologist for WTLV/WJXX. He is seen at 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, and 11:00.
Education
Tim graduated from Texas A&M with bachelors of Science degree in meteorology
School Visits
Tim tries to visit one school per week to teach kids AbOUT weather. He will also recount his trip with the Hurricane Hunters into Hurricane Gilbert
Honors & Awards
Tim is an important member of the American Meteorological Society and carries the coveted 'Seal of Approval'.
News Anchor Marriage
Tim wed First Coast News anchor Donna Deegan (Donna Hicken) in 2003. In fact, his wife's ex-husband First Coast News Sports Director Dan Hicken is on the same broadcast with them at 11 PM. Donna, on October 29th, 2007, officially changed her last name to Deegan on the broadcast on WTLV. This also coincided with a complete graphics package change.
