Tiger (upcoming American film)
Tiger is an upcoming American drama film directed by Alister Grierson, with a screenplay by Prem Singh and Michael Pugliese based on the true story of Sikh boxer Pardeep "Tiger" Nagra. The film introduces Singh as Nagra, with Mickey Rourke and Janel Parrish also starring.
Plot
Pardeep Nagra, a Sikh, takes his case to court after he is barred from competing in the sport of boxing, because he refuses to shave his beard.

Production
In November 2015, it was reported that Alister Grierson would direct Tiger, and Mickey Rourke and Janel Parrish would star in the film. It was also announced that newcomer Prem Singh (who also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Pugliese) would portray the title role, boxer Pardeep "Tiger" Nagra. Principal photography began that same month in Cincinnati and Hamilton, Ohio, and was filmed over 19 days. Production concluded on December 19, 2015.
