Thursday's fictions
Thursday’s Fictions is the title of an Australian creative arts work. A cross media project on the subject of reincarnation, its four major iterations thus far have been in the form of a stage production (1995), a book (1999), a film (2006), and most recently an interactive environment in the online virtual world Second Life (2007). A fifth incarnation, as a machinima series, is about to be launched. Originally conceived and written by writer/director Richard James Allen in the early 1990s, it has evolved since that time in collaboration with his longtime creative partner, producer/editor Karen Pearlman, and a range of other creative artists across various media including dance, music, visual arts, radio, and machinima.
