Thunderbrew
Thunderbrew is an American Hard Rock/Metal band from Wilmington DE.
Bio
In 1999 members and longtime friends Daran Amos - Vocals/Lead Guitar, Bob Beird - Bass, Rick Land - Lead Guitar, and Joe Panaccione - Drums, formed what would quickly become Delaware’s premiere act for their musical genre. Supported by a blistering live show, the band’s debut CD “Red Death” sold more than 1,000 copies and helped build a solid loyal fan base. In early 2004 original drummer Joe Panaccione was replaced by Daniel J. Kwasizur and on October 2 the band’s second CD “Red, White & Brew” was released to a jam-packed room full of screaming fans whose enthusiasm and appreciation added fuel to an already intense fire. With masterfully written songs and intelligible, meaningful lyrics Thunderbrew offers something far better than average. The band’s familiar yet original sound has grabbed the attention of several major and independent record companies worldwide. And with “Red, White & Brew” creating a buzz among radio stations in the mid-atlantic region, the enthusiasm continues to grow. The creation of thunderbrew.com & thunderbrew.net in 2001 has helped grow the fan base to a worldwide level receiving as many as 28,000 hits per week and CD sales registering in 12 countries. Thunderbrew’s music offers far more to the listener than the average rock song, while maintaining catchy hooks and memorable lyrics that will stay with you long after the stereo has been turned off. With a live show and sound unmatched by any of the bands with whom Thunderbrew has shared the stage, it’s only a matter of time before their sound catches on in greater and greater numbers. Thunderbrew began recording their 3rd full length album "Hell's Too Full" on Oct. 27th 2006. According to guitarist Rick Land "This CD is a darker & brutal Beer Metal....get ready for an [...] beatin." And an [...] beatin' we got too. On January 6th, 2007, Hell's Too Full was released to rave reviews from just about everybody who's heard it. Continuing the tradition from the first two albums, Down The Hatch III showcases Daran, Rick, Bob and Dan's high level of skill on their respective instruments, and the album also features standout songs such as Face Down, the politically charged War Song, and Gravity, which is a trip to the mellower side of Thunderbrew; and proves that they are not just a one trick pony. The guys have been touring in support of Hell's Too full since January, playing with bands like Bullistic, Borgo Pass, Automag, and even performing at the Brooklyn Metalfest alongside some of metal's finest acts. This is a band on the way up, and you can expect even greater things in the future.
