THOR Financial Technologies, LLC is an American financial technology and investment management firm headquartered in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The company was founded in 2019, and it provides systematic investment strategies and model portfolios that utilize signal processing technology a method, a method originally developed for analyzing electronic signals

History

THOR Financial Technologies was founded in 2019 by Brad Roth. Prior to founding the firm, Roth held roles at Sardonyx Capital and Ferretti Financial. He is the author of Little Reasons, Big Consequences: Why Your Investment Returns Stink, a book focused on behavioral finance.

THOR Financial Technologies initially launched as a provider of model portfolios for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). In 2022, it expanded into the public markets by launching its first exchange traded fund (ETF). In early 2026, the firm announced a strategic partnership with ETF.com to distribute its Behind the Ticker podcast. The podcast focuses on ETF innovation and advisor education.

Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)

  • THOR Low Volatility ETF (THLV): An actively managed equity ETF listed on the NYSE that utilizes a sector rotation strategy with a strategy intended to reduce losses during market declines.
  • THOR Index Rotation ETF (THIR): A fund designed to track the THOR SDQ Rotation Index, providing exposure to U.S. large cap equities through weekly rebalancing.

Leadership

  • Brad Roth: Founder and Chief Investment Officer. In April 2025, Roth was also appointed CIO of UX Wealth Partners, a turnkey asset management platform (TAMP).
