Thor Alexander
Thor Alexander is a veteran computer game producer.
Career
Thor Alexander has been working in the game industry since 1991 as a producer, designer, engineer and entrepreneur. He joined Zynga in November 2008 as an Executive Producer. Previously he worked with the two founders of Metaplace to build the company from the ground up to 28 employees serving as the Director of Product Management. Prior to that he has held the position of Development Director at Electronic Arts. He has contributed to titles such as Medal of Honor, Earth & Beyond and Freelancer as well as the Ultima Online game series. Thor is the founder and editor of the Massively Multi-Player Game Development book series. He has also contributed to the books AI Game Programming Wisdom and Game Programming Gems 3 as well as Massively Multi-Player Game Development.
