Thomas Lessman
Thomas Lessman is a political and community activist in Topeka, Kansas, United States. He was born on October 23 1977 and became a father at age 16, later graduating from Shawnee Heights High School in 1996.
In early 2002 Thomas became a founding Coordinator of the Million Dads March Network. He began serving as the President of ACFC-KS, the Kansas Chapter of the American Coalition of Fathers & Children, in October 2003. Mr. Lessman is also an advisor to Parents Without Rights. Lessman is actively networking the United States Libertarian Party and Conservative Republicans with various parents' and family rights organizations.
Lessman has identified himself as Libertarian all of his political life. In 2004 he ran his first campaign for the Kansas House of Representatives on a family-rights platform, coming in 3rd place with 221 votes. In 2006 Lessman ran his second campaign for the Kansas House and again lost to Ann Mah. He is currently forging alliances between the Libertarian Party of Kansas (LPKS) and the Conservative wings of the Kansas Republican Party and Democrat Parties. Thomas Lessman is also a historian, and has made a series of maps covering world history from 1300 BC to 1500 AD. These maps are available on his site and on Wikipedia.
