The Sights and Sounds of Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd

The Sights and Sounds of Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd is a Pink Floyd bootleg album containing many rare and hard-to-get tracks, mostly from 1967. There are some tracks from 1968, 1970, and 1971. The first track is not related to the band, it is a Paul McCartney interview that took place in 1967 where he talks AbOUT the psychedelic wave of music and style that had come on England at that time. The fifth track is a BBC TV interview with Hans Keller about the bands Games For May concert. Tracks 17 through 21 are the songs recorded for the first BBC sessions for "Sound Of The Seventies" on 24 February 1967 by Syd Barrett during his solo career. Tracks 22 through 24 are the songs recorded and for the second BBC session for "Sound Of The Seventies" also by Syd Barrett solo on 16 February 1971. These songs were recorded off of the radio by a listener and were put on this album. Track 25 is a live version of Octopus from Syd Barrett's only live show as a solo artist recorded on June 1970. It is a bootleg version recorded by a person that was watching the show, and has quite poor quality sound. There were three other songs that he played, but none other than Octopus was included.
