The Seven Gates
The Seven Gates, is a French Death Metal band, founded in 2005 in Macon, France by Vincent. Vincent used to be the one creator of the Opuses Daemonium and Akhenaton, released under Adipocere Records in the late 80's. He, with Michel (ex Mutilated) released Winds of Sirius (1999) and finally decided to come back with The Seven Gates dedicated to the Death Metal Scene and the concert stages.
Mastered by renowned French engineer Jean-Pierre Bouquet, The Seven Gate's New album 'Angel of Suffering' delivers 10 tracks of old-school death metal. They were discovered by an American label based in NY called Heavy Artillery, which decided to sign them and promote them throughough the world. Heavy Artillery, specialised in Old School Metal Bands, saw a great power in The Seven Gates for this new scene in Music.
The band has toured since 2006 and managed to get on stage with the biggest french Metal Bands. They have done over 100 concert dates throughout France and are asked to tour in Europe and in the USA. 'Angel of Suffering' is now on the Charts : number 1 on the French Metal Charts on Reverbnation, and has entered the worldwide Top 100 Metal Charts of the World Metal scene ! He occupies the charts with bands such as Slayer, Amon Amarth, Samaël ...
On myspace charts, The Seven Gates is remaining and shown as one of the first French metal bands and starts to be renowned like Dagoba, Benighted ... The Seven Gates with 'Gehenna's sword' reached already the Metal stages and the whole french crowd selling the MCD in high numbers and being honored by METALLIAN as the Best New band !
