The Rock (news music)
'''The Rock''' is a television news music collection, composed by musician [[Stephen Arnold]]. It was composed exclusively for [[NBC]]'s local affiliate stations.
The Rock got its name from two sources: NBC's headquarters at [[Rockefeller Center]]; and that of Ronne Rock, the general manager of [[KXAN]] in Austin, TX, who commissioned the package.
The collection features a total of between 75 and 100 cuts of opens, closes, stingers, bumpers and promo beds.
So far, 10 NBC affiliates are currently using The Rock.
