The return of the Communist Mutants From Space was the last game to be developed by Area 7 for the Sega Dreamcast in late 2000. (Never officially released)

Background

The Idea for The return of the Communist Mutants From Space came from a 1982 Atari game called Communist Mutants from Space. The developers of Area 7 though that the games idea was interesting but the Atari original failed to elaborate upon it. The game allowed you to choose which side you would like to fight for either the Anti-Communist forces of earth or the Glorious Peoples Army of Rooskee.

Story

The year is 3050 and the Milkyway Galaxy is still realing from the Space Cold war(2967-3034)and the heads of the 4 SUPER planets are convening on the planet Alpha 7 to begin the galaxian reconstrution to restor order, but little do they that the dissalosion of Union of Mutant Socialist Planets was an elaborate ruse to lule the Capitalists into a false sense of security. In reality the USMP ( Union of Mutant Socialist Planets) is still quite real and is planing an attack on the planet Alpha 7 and with the help of the Mutant Peoples Republic of Chizna they will destroty the capitalist once and for all.
