The Poppyheads

The Poppyheads were a short-lived band from Southampton who formed in 1997. In 1998 they experienced chart success with their first singles "This One's For You", "All I Want" and "Wake Up America", which reached no 1 in the indie chart, before promptly breaking up.They were signed to EMI Records. The Poppyheads were the brainchild of Producer/Songwriter Clyde Ward who discovered and charted their path to success.

The Singer and Bass player Mike Ward now writes songs for his fathers publishing company.

The singer and guitar player Martyn Collins (who still resides in Southampton) is now looking at resurrecting his music career by gigging locally with new material.

The drummer Hugo Morgan-Harris is now a company partner in the Boat-building industry.
