The Party Quirks
The Party Quirks are a short-form improv comedy group based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The group has been considered one of the country's first improv troupes, and has received positive reviews from The Nation and several popular radio stations in the country.
History
Towards the end of 2005, Natasha Ejaz and Danish Ali held auditions to start an Improv Comedy group. Originally there were performers cast in the group including Ovais Mushtaq, Jawad Rana, Danish Ali, Osman Khalid Butt and Natasha Ejaz.
Regular performances were initially held in a local restaurant. They were an instant hit with the young crowd of Islamabad who saw this as a new and novel form of entertainment.
Danish Ali left the group to move to Karachi to persue a career in Stand up comedy and Osman Khalid butt took on greater theatrical activities.
Currently, the cast consists of Ovais Mushtaq, Jawad Rana and Fahad Masood.
Current Activities
The group performs regularly in Islamabad. Their act mainly revolves a choice selection of short form games with a mixed BLEND of audience involvement and music.
