The MeKanics

The MeKanics are a production team out of West Palm Beach, FL. composed of Michael "Foreign Teck" Hernandez and Remedy both 20 years old, which formed early 2011.

Early Career

As South Florida regional winner, the Mekanics were flown to New York City to compete in a national music producer competition against 40 other regional winning producers from the United States and Europe. The “Beast of the Beats” contest was hosted by iStandard Producers and sponsored by Monster Energy. The Mekanics took the spotlight and crushed the competition, becoming the first producers signed by Monster. In the past year, The MeKanics have worked with some of music’s biggest artist which include, but not limited to: Kanye West, French Montana, Meek Mill, T.I., Game, Rick Ross, and more. Currently The MeKanics have over 20 records in the pipeline that have been cut and confirmed. They have only been working together for a year and a half, and they show no signs of slowing down. The ambitious 20 year olds are pushing out quality by the masses. They have a library of over 500 beats and counting. Recently they caught the attention of superstar Kanye West and have currently worked on 2 records with him to date. With 8 album confirmations in the next 6 months, they are surely headed in the right direction.
