The MCP band

The MCP Band is a rock group whose origin is from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

Started in 2000 by founding member and lead vocalist, gutiarist Matt Coffy, the band has evolved to encompass 4 members. Jon Pope on bass, Chuck Tumulty on drums and Jay Singer playing lead guitar. In 2007 the band had grown to maturity and produced a live recorded studio CD that captures the bands raw energy. Good song writing and a healthy reputation for jamming unique rock/blues formula brought the attention of GarageBand.com in a Providing a "track of the day" award for the song Living on Borrowed Time. Also winning awards on Garageband from the input of Karl Dietel playing keyboards who hales from the band The Samples. The band continues to find individuals that are interested in the material that they have written and have approached Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel from the Yayhoos to produce a second CD in The Spring of 2008. The band plays gigs in The New York City and New Jersey on occasion.
