The Little White Pills
The Little White Pills are a punk rock band formed in the Washington DC area in 2002 by J.B. Beverley of The Wayward Drifters and The [...] Junkies.
EARLY HISTORY:
The Little White Pills were started by J.B. Beverley in the fall of 2002. The original line-up consisted of Beverley on vocals and lead guitar, "Dirty" Darren Waters on guitar, Blee on Drums, and Chuck on bass. The band made their debut at the Royal Lee Bar in Arlington, VA on October 22, 2002 to a packed house of friends and instant fans. Playing a dozen originals and some Misfits and FEAR covers, the band started a legacy not soon to be forgotten.
In 2003 both Blee and Chuck left the band. Blee was replaced by Gary ISOM formerly of Spirit Caravan and Pentagram on drums, and Carl Raether on bass. Raether lasted close to a year, and was soon replaced by Johnny Wretched of Wretched. After a brief tour and The Release of only one demo bootleg "Live From The Velvet Lounge", Wretched left the band and was replaced by Russ Strahan on bass.
HIGHLIGHTS: Inside of two years, The Little White Pills opened shows for The Screws, The Goons, The Dickies, Duane Peters and the Hunns, DI, and others, and headlined several weekenders and events like Heavy Rebel.
RECENT HISTORY: The Little White Pills have been on hiatus for the last year after conflicts over Beverley's touring schedule with The [...] Junkies, and The Wayward Drifters. They have not officially broken up, and are talking AbOUT reuniting sometime in the next year.
