The Legacy Stones

The Legacy Stones are fictional articfacts from the 2002 Mike Young Productions series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe update.

They were first and only seen and referenced in the season one episode "The Mystery of Anwat gar". They were the prized treasures of the ancient Island Anwat Gar, protected for generations by warriors who's sole duty was to protect them above all else.

Those who possess the Legacy stones can invoke the incantation to unlock their powers. Skeletor managed to get a hold of one and gained INCredible strength speed and durability. His appearance was that of the Mattel Samurai Skeletor variant figure, part of their 2002 Masters of the Universe toyline.

In order to combat the threat that the over powered Skeletor now possessed, He-Man used the second and last Legacy Stone to become just as powerful. his appearance was that of the Mattel Samurai He-Man variant figure, also part of their 2002 Masters of the Universe toyline.

After using his inteelect to defeat Skeletor rather than the power of the Legacy Stones, He-Man proceeded to destroy the artifacts.
