The IT Crowd is an upcoming American television comedy that will debut on NBC in the 2008-2009 television season. Based on the British series of the same name, it will be adapted for U.S. audiences.

NBC filmed the studio audience portion of a pilot for an American version of The IT Crowd on February 16, 2007. The show will be remade with an American cast, akin to The Office, although Richard Ayoade reprises his role as Moss. Jessica St. Clair plays Jen, the female lead, and Joel McHale plays Roy. The show was picked up for a midseason debut in 2008 but was later pushed back to air during the 2008-2009 season.

On September 13 2007, the Hollywood Reporter reported that NBC had pulled the plug on the show, though NBC has not announced anything.
