History
The band was originally assembled as a project-group as a part of a paper in contemporary performance offered by the University of Otago, run by Dr Graeme Downes and Mr Robert Burns. As chemistry was apparent between three of the four original members; Chris, Stu and Anthony decided to continue as a group upon finding a replacement for their original guitarist with whom they differed irreconcilably in musical taste . The addition of guitarist Logan Valentine saw Chris and Stu reunited with the core of their high school death metal/ska/reggae group Mahth. Chris, Stu and Logan originally met as teenage rugby league players.
