The European NGO Alliance for Child Safety Online (eNACSO)
The European NGO Alliance for Child Safety Online (eNACSO) is a network of 27 children’s rights NGOs from across the EU that work together to create a safer online environment for children. They aim to promote and support actions at national, European and international level aimed at protecting children and promoting their rights in relation to the Internet and new technologies.
eNACSO’s work is based on the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the Optional Protocol to the UNCRC on the sale of children, child prostitution and child [...]. The network focuses its efforts on ensuring that policies and strategies related to the Internet take the needs of children and young people into account. The network is funded by the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme.
eNACSO provides a pool of online child protection NGOs from different European countries. The network shares expertise and practices on policy areas related to child online safety in order to promote a child protection focus in relation to the Internet and new and emerging technologies.
