The Edge (CNBC)
The Edge was an evening business news talk show aired weekdays on CNBC from October 6th, 1997 to February 1st, 2002.
The Edge works to give investors a competitive "edge" by tracking emerging trends in business and the financial markets, delving into new [...] "edge" products and technologies, moving inside the world of aggressive investors on the "edge," and featuring opposing predictions from top analysts and business leaders trying to get a word in "edgewise."
History
- The Edge was only a half hour program to replace Business Tonight in circa 1998, aired from 6:30 to 7pm ET.
- In circa 1999, it was expanded to one hour, aired from 6 to 7.
- In circa 2000, it was shortened to half hour again, aired from 6 to 6:30.
- In circa 2001, it was moved to 7:30 to 8pm timeslot, and ended its run.
