The Duffy Agency
The Duffy Agency is an independent, English language advertising agency located in Malmö, Sweden. It provides a full range of services, from social media campaigns to traditional print advertising, focusing on clients who are building their brands internationally.
In 2004, The Duffy Agency launched a new branch of the company called Duffy Consult. The consultancy helps companies understand their customers and their brand through market research and brand development work.
The Duffy Agency is part of the Transworld Advertising Agency Network (TAAN) TAAN is an association of independent advertising agencies from around the world. The network began in the US in 1936. Today, there are over 50 member agencies across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
History
Sean Duffy and Hank Fågerstedt founded The Duffy Agency in 2001. Previously, Duffy owned an agency called Duffy & Co. AB, which was founded in 1991. Duffy & Co. experienced steady growth for 10 years. During this time, the agency worked closely with Lowe Brindfors in Stockholm, with Duffy functioning as Creative Director for Lowe Worldwide. This ended in 2001 when Duffy and Fågerstedt, then Art Director at Lowe Brindfors, broke ties with Lowe and founded The Duffy Agency.
Fågerstedt returned to Lowe Brindfors in January 2004 for personal reasons. In 2005, John Reisky joined The Duffy Agency as Managing Partner.
