Hailing from the West Midlands and forged through secondary school friendships, The Daze have set out to create the rawest form of accessible good time pop music, laced with elements of punk, dance and blues, with influences as diverse as Buddy Guy to Cream, and the Police to The Kings Of Leon. Through their set you'll bear witness to the INCredible high-octane pop rock of 'Runaway Girl', the pure roots driven 'Dirty Soles' and the unstoppable hook laden 'Upstairs', these guys evoke one hell of a ride.
They say all good things come in threes and in this instance that statement rings resoundingly true, the Daze is made up of Charlie Haddon (Bass & Vox), Freddie Cowan (Guitars) and Felix Matthews (Drums).
Says Cowan, “We try to invoke an impression whether it’s good or bad, the worst thing is always indifference. You don’t have to be Slipknot to have people love or hate you”.
Continues Cowan, “We want to bring intelligence and controversy back to pop music, the best music has always been commercial but its become stale with the lack of thought and imagination. We want to come across as the stones did at the height of Beatle-mania, storm in as the anti-christ and tear the whole world apart!"
