The Circle of Tyrants (album)

The Circle of Tyrants is the debut studio album by American hip hop supergroup The Circle of Tyrants, released on October 18, 2005 by Psycho+Logical-Records.

The album features guest vocalist Matt Harvey of Exhumed. Featured guest instrumentalists on the album include Igor Cavalera of Sepultura, Alex Skolnick of Testament and Vinny Appice of Black Sabbath.

Trivia

  • "Circle of Tyrants" is taken from the title of a song by Celtic Frost.
  • "Necrotura" contains two guitar solos, performed by guest instrumentalist Alex Skolnick of Testament.
  • "South of Heaven" was named after the title of American thrash metal band Slayer's fourth studio album.
  • "The Four Horsemen" was titled after a track of the same name from American thrash metal band Metallica's debut album Kill 'Em All. The song's chorus also contains the same lyrics as the chorus of the Metallica song.
