The Cinema Story
The Cinema Story is an American pop-punk/rock band from Park Hills, Missouri, formed in 2013. Their lineup currently consists of Keith Hafner (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jeremy Hampton (lead guitar, unclean vocals), Paul McCoy (bass guitar), and Brenden (Brennan) Dane (drums, percussion). The band first formed in January 2013, with Jeremy and Keith and a different bass player and drummer.
Since the formation, the band has recorded many "rough sample" mixes of their songs to give out to crowds at their local shows. In mid 2013, Cross Your Fingers EP was released under the band's name. On May 20, 2014, the band announced that on June 2, they will begin the recording process of their first studio album. On October 25th, The album released on October 25th, 2014 under Westclark records with the name Straight On 'Til Morning, along with their concert to celebrate the release. The band performed the entire album, and after the performance, each member signed to Westclark.
Charity History
On April 19, 2014, The Cinema Story gained the attention of the local media by hosting a charity benefit show called "Notes 4 Hope". It featured nineteen bands, and all proceeds went to the [...]-prevention group To Write Love On Her Arms.
