The Chicago Network

The Chicago Network (TCN) is an American membership organization founded in 1979, for professional women in the Chicago metropolitan area who have reached the highest echelons of business, the arts, government, the professions and academia.

The goal of TCN is to provide a forum for friendship, to provide mutual support and counsel for member careers and to raise awareness of professional, political and social issues facing women. Each year, TCN publishes The Chicago Network Census to document the ProgresS of women business leaders in Chicago's fifty largest public companies, as well as its largest nonprofit organizations. Currently, TCN has approximately 360 members.

Executive Director

Amy Osler has been the Executive Director of The Chicago Network since 1982. Prior to taking that position she was a teacher and administrator of special education programs in New York City and Boston. Osler holds a B.A. from New York University and an M.A. from Columbia University. She is on the Board of Directors of Access Living, a member of the Women's Association of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and was selected to be included in Today's Chicago Woman's 20th Anniversary Hall of Fame. She is also a member of The Economic Club of Chicago.
