The Big Dish (game show)
The Big Dish was a gameshow on The Children's Channel, hosted by John Eccleston.
The Big Dish, is a game show where 100 kids are in a space ship where they get whittled down to only 1 winner, by a series of elimination rounds.
at the start of each round we have a small start up with will say "100 to 50" "50 to 25" 25 to 24" "24 to 12" "12 to 6" "6 to 3" then finally "3 to 1" with a pictures of men and women you'd usually see at bathrooms

first round is 100 to 50 where John Eccleston does a small "monolouge" then pulls a lever and then a light underneath the 100 kids inside the circle spins around to black and white screens, if the light lands on the colour of the players shirt, you go through while the others sit in the audience seats
round two is 50 to 25 where this is in a quiz style round where they get split up into groups blue and red, basically the way to stay in is to be on the blue side and not on the red
round 3 is 25 to 24 (or the spiked ball round) basically, the round is just to bump a poor kid out, via the spiked ball, one player who got eliminated earlier is brought back just to help out, he or she is covered over with a biker helmet and spun around in a circle while the 25 kids are in a same circle shape, now once the spiked ball is swung and hits one of the kids that kid is sent home with a consolation prize of a big dish t-shirt but gets thrown out of the spaceship
round 4 is 24 to 12, (can't really remember but if any one out there can help edit this segment)
round 5 is 12 to 6, this challenge involves the 12 being split into 6 groups of 2, one kid will have a pipe fitted onto his/her shirt and the team mate is inside a ball pit... the then they need to bring there pipe through loops but the loops are scrambled AbOUT the play area, and the must place the pipe into the other end of the room and hit a buzzer to signal they done the task, in this 3 teams will only be allowed to move on
round 6 is 6 to 3, this round we have the lucky 6 who will run across a slipway, where they have to collect a piece of a column where they must build up the column up to the top if the do it correctly there through if not the need to keep going untl 3 players are chosen
Round 7 is 3 to 1, this is the last game of the day, the final three are in a quiz of the finish but the only way to win is to light 5 lights on the players podium to win a super fantastic prize
