The Awareness Social Marketing Hub

The Awareness Social Marketing Hub is a tool intended to allow marketers to publish, manage, measure, and engage with their marketing across multiple social media channels. The Social Marketing Hub was created by Awareness, Inc. in 2010 and includes features such as permissioning, audit trails, and team comment response across multiple social media channels and Awareness, Inc.’s seven Best Practice Communities.

The Hub platform lets users post content to all or specific channels (destination sites) simultaneously. This feature in the application is intended to address the inconvenience enterprises face when they must post content to each channel individually, through each channel’s site. The idea is that an enterprise can manage multiple channels, all from within one dashboard. Channels currently supported by the Hub include: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Wordpress, foursquare, and Awareness Communities .

The Social Marketing Hub reports aggregate, channel, and content-specific metrics. The tool also includes sentiment analysis for both comments and the commenters that created them. Additionally, the Hub has enterprise-grade security, which allows a company to manage login credentials and approval processes for publishing content.

Awareness, Inc. is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA, and has a research and development facility in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Customers include Sony, McDonald’s, JetBlue, Best Buy, CVS Pharmacy, Hershey’s, and Progressive.
