TEN TON STUDIOS1 is an American comic book studio. It was founded in 2005 by 15 founding members as a venue where these founding creators could publish their material and creator-owned properties as well as having the ability to be freelance creators for others.

To show off the work we're so proud of and point you in the direction of those we take inspiration from. We're fortunate to be good friends first, then talented creators and dedicated professionals. In a business that can be a lonely place, we stand side by side. We chose the image of a B-52 as our logo because the fun and creativity inherent to working with your friends is nothing short of explosive. Stop by our forum or catch us at conventions and you'll see…we're here out of love! Take the time to explore our website and you'll find some of the best new talent working in the industry today. Our work has been featured by companies such as Marvel comics, Image comics, White Wolf, Tokyopop, Alias enterprises, Devil's Due, Moonstone Publishing and Wizard Entertainment to name a few. History & Founding
A brief history of TEN TON STUDIOS.
Lelan Estes is a writer, he was looking to put together a collection of short stories by different artists. Lelan Estes went to a several comic book conventions and meet and convinced most of us to work on his book. Then we formed a yahoo group, where we would chat and post and get to know each other. At some point we decided to make it official and call ourselves a studios. We voted on a name and logo, and bought ourselves a website and put a forum on it. then we hit the con circuit and internet as a studio. Which brings us to the present.
Officially it's been a little over 2 years, but technically i think it's more like 3 and half or something. We spent a bunch of time on the yahoo thing before we became TEN TON STUDIOS.
