Teknicks

Teknicks is a privately owned advertising and Internet marketing company. Founded in 2004 and based in Bay Head, New Jersey, it was recognized as one of "New Jersey's Fastest Growing Companies" by NJBIZ in 2012.

History

Teknicks was founded in Edison, New Jersey by Nick Chasinov in 2004. His total startup investment was $500. In 2009, the company moved their offices to Brielle, New Jersey and achieved $1 million in sales. In 2010, Teknicks moved to a new corporate headquarters in Bay Head, New Jersey. In 2011, the company exceeded 30 employees and $2.5 million in sales. Chasinov's startup was featured as a case study in Inc. in November 2012, "Case Study: Keep Your Day Job and Start a Business".

In the February 2012 issue of Entrepreneur, Chasinov was asked to contribute to the column "The Fix" AbOUT small business site ReDeSign.

Forbes magazine spotlighted the company in a regional business insert distributed to all subscribers in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut in an article titled, "Internet & Social Marketing Leader Teknicks is a Shore thing".

Teknicks was highlighted in Strategize magazine, a North American trade publication and was also featured in a cover story in its summer 2011 issue.
