History
Team Wastey was a sporadic gathering of like-minded folk that began at the University of Oklahoma in 2004. This soon spread south across the Red River to parts of Northeast Texas. Eventually there were even meetings in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
Official Activities
Team Wastey gatherings are unofficially referred to as "happy hours," though this should not suggest the members are happy for they May Be beligerent and angry. Often an "ostrich" is provided and "ducks" are drank by the dozen. Activities often include:
-Drinking
-Deciding on things of no importance
-Debating on things of no importance
-Losing interest and sitting on the porch
-Getting some sandwiches
-Smoking
The aforementioned activities almost always occurred; however, the order is the subject of some speculation and the process itself was often debated between attendees.
The Rise and Fall of the Wastey Empire
The most positive outcome that ever came out of a meeting of these like-minded folk was the decision to make some "really sweet shirts." Later, the loose organization became too cumbersome to manage and violent rifts between members soon emerged. These fissures, could not be mended and the meetings formally ceased.
