Team Bravo: Weapons and Tactics

Team Bravo: Special Weapons and Tactics is a single player first person shooter developed by Atari and published by City Interactive due for release in Australia on 22/05/2009. It uses a modified version of the JupiterEX Engine.

Plot

The game is based in New York. During a routine SWAT operating a truck containing a variety of pistols and rifles is seized. The player's character and his team discover something much more disturbing. The truck actually contains a dirty bomb, which the existence of 3 other dirty bombs is made apparent. The rest of the game is spent preventing the materials and the bombs themselves from falling into the wrong hands.

Gameplay

The actual game style itself is unknown but it appears to be a combination of a normal first person shooter and swat4. Several screenshots have appeared including several involving suspects giving up and being arrested. The players weapon appears to be customisable and even interchangable with other weapons during the game.

Like in call of duty 4, some real world items like thin walls can be shot through. A blind fire feature is also present, which allows the player to 'blind fire' while behind cover.

Weapons

Weapon customisation appears to be a key feature of the game, allowing the player to choose a weapon and then add on to it to suit the mission and objectives. An mp5 has been confirmed for the game as well as a sniper rifle (although the exact model is unknown). A reflex scope has been spotted on the mp5.

Equipment

M84 Flashbangs are in the game although their exact effect are unknown, S10 Gas masks also appear but again their exact use in the game is unknown.

Trivia

  • There is very little information on this game, even on Atari's website. This leads to speculation this is a rushed game
  • The word Entire is spelt wrong on Atari's website.
