Tactical Sekt
Tactical SEKT is an electroindustrial band. They are known for their powerful, noisy, dark electro-industrial sound.
History
Tactical Sekt was conceived by Anthony Mather in 2002-03. Mather had experience with electroindustrial music in his former band, Aslan Faction. When Aslan Faction released their last album, Sin-Drome of Separation in 2003, Anthony already had a few IDeaS AbOUT more danceable music, in the vein of Hocico and [...] Commando.
Tactical Sekt started touring regularly at the same time as Aslan Faction. After Aslan Faction stopped performing live and making new music, Mather decided to devote himself to Tactical Sekt. The album Geneticide was released soon afterwards in 2003.
After Geneticide, Tactical Sekt released Burn Process. The music and the atmosphere were much more Euro-Trance like.
In the next few years, Tactical Sekt will mostly perform live and do remixes for other groups.
At the end of 2006, a New album came out - Syncope. The standard album featured 13 tracks. A limited EDition featured never-before released tracks, mostly from the Geneticide period.
